This adventure is only for those who love extreme challenges. We will start off with an early departure on a 3.5-hour road trip to the mountainous regions north of Yakima. This trip includes a long strenuous uphill mountain bike ride, a cross-country traverse using a compass, and a mountain top destination with gorgeous views of mount Rainer. This area is home to one of the largest elk herds in Washington State, so bring your camera. The hiking portion of the trip may include some animal tracking if class members desire this component. Warning: This class is only for those who are in excellent physical condition, have strong ankles, are able to hike up hill through dense forest, and currently running at least 25-30 miles per week.

Fee: $100 + $25.00 gas fee
